Lots of food brands have come out with makeup lines recently and now Sour Patch Kids is getting in on the game with a new colorful makeup collaboration with Morphe.
The collection will be available starting Thursday, Sept 23 and includes five items. The line features a Sour Then Sweet eyeshadow palette, Set It Sweet Continuous setting mist, Pucker Party lip gloss, Colorful Crew beauty sponges, and Candy Sweet lip scrubs.
The palette features 18 different colors with names like Watermelon Whoa, Orange Craze, and Gimme Grape. There is a mix of both matte and metallic/sparkly shades. A few of the colors even have the Sour Patch Kids outline carved into the color. The packaging also looks exactly like a Sour Patch Kids box.
The setting mist is watermelon-scented and is based on the watermelon Sour Patch Kids. There is also a lip gloss to go with it that is also watermelon-themed.
The beauty sponge set comes with five different sponges ranging from mini to full-size. The set includes blue, green, yellow, red, and orange sponges. The collection wraps up with two raspberry-flavored lip scrubs. One is red and one is blue.
Sour Patch Kids x Morphe collab for new candy-inspired makeup line
All the items come in at under $25 each so besides being incredibly cute and colorful, it’s also pretty affordable as well. You can currently sign up to learn about the candy-inspired makeup launch as soon as it drops on Morphe’s website.
The only criticism of the new Sour Patch Kids line is that it’s from Morphe and they don’t have the best reputation for quality makeup. Hopefully, this turns out better than some of their other products.
But if you are a Sour Patch Kids fanatic like me, you might just need to have this for the fun of it. The packaging is way too cute to pass up.
