Coca-Cola and Morphe team up for a new makeup collection

Makeup and food seem to be a huge trend these days with the way multiple food brands are coming out with makeup lines left and right. Coca-Cola is just the latest to launch a makeup line inspired by their brand.

The soda company collaborated with makeup company, Morphe to bring out a collection of brushes, eye shadows, mascara, and lip glosses. But don’t worry. It’s not all red and white. They decided to use Coca-Cola 1971 as their inspiration so it’s all about color and hippy vibes.

First up is the palette! The packaging is covered in multicolored bottles, flowers, and even a smiley face or two. The eyeshadows inside feature colors with names like Commercial Break, Poptimistic, Join Hands, Flash Forward, and 1971.

It has a lot of browns with an orange or two as well as a few purples and blues. It’s currently $22 on Morphe’s website.

Next is the eye brush set. You get five different brushes. They vary in size and the handles of the brushes are either black, red, pink, or yellow. The set comes in a cute little see-through pouch with flowers and smiley faces all over it. It’s currently $26.

Now for the gloss! The gloss comes in a set of four with colors like Perfect World, Full of Hope, Join Voices, and All the Feels. The colors include fuschia, coral, and two lighter pinks. You can get your set for $19.

Finally is the mascara! As someone who only wears mascara when it comes to makeup, I love that one of these specialty collections finally brought out a mascara. The “Make It Big” mascara is $12, comes in a red tube, and is only available in black. The brush looks ok, but I do wonder if the formula clumps.
