Samuel Adams Utopias is back for the 2021 holiday season and it is better than ever

Since 2002, Samuel Adams has been delivering the biannual magic of their Utopias brew, an innovative approach to crafting a perfect sip of beer. And in 2021, not only is Utopias back and better than ever, but the bottle is just as gorgeous as ever.

While we already knew Utopias was a special brew thanks to the aging process that sees any number of casks coming into play. But in 2021, the Samuel Adams Utopias took things to a whole new level thanks to not only the 86 different barrels that were used for aging, but also the fact that “this year’s blend is finished on cherries, including Michigan Balaton Cherries.”

As brewer and Samuel Adams founder Jim Koch explained, every time they brew up a batch of Utopias, the flavor changes and it becomes a wholly unique drinking experience. No two batches can ever be duplicated because of the casks used in the aging process, among other things.

Considering that only about 13,000 bottles of this year’s Utopias was released, you know it is something special and even hard to snag. But if you can get your hands on a bottle of this $240 brew, then you are in for a real treat.
