Are you worried about getting your hands on a turkey for Thanksgiving? Looking to save on your holiday dinner? Walmart is hoping to ease our fears.

In a new blog post shared to the company’s newsroom, they go into detail about how there are plenty of turkeys for their customers. And while it is definitely a good idea to get your turkey now (and not at the last minute), according to the post,

"During the month of October, frozen turkey sales were up over 100% compared to last year. Because our merchants anticipated customers would shop earlier, we planned ahead and secured ample supply. Despite the early turkey shopping, we will have plenty of turkeys and are confident all our customers will find what they need for their Thanksgiving meal this year."

However, the post did not just talk about turkey. There was also information about the cost of our Thanksgiving dinner, and in news that is probably not that surprising for anyone who already does their shopping at Walmart, customers who get all the fixings for their holiday dinner will be saving big.

Walmart wants to ease customers’ fears with details about turkey supply and more this Thanksgiving

Apparently, “at Walmart, customers can get all their Thanksgiving staples for just $38.55 – a savings of more than $14 compared to the national average ($53.31).” Considering this is the fifth year in a row that the company has been able to keep our Thanksgiving dinner costs lower than the national average, it is hard to deny that even if they didn’t have the turkeys so many people want for dinner, they would be a great place to go for our holiday needs.

And of course, we can’t forget the fact that even if you aren’t in the mood to head into Walmart, you can also take advantage of their curbside pickup option and of course, there is also their delivery option as well!

Honestly, if you are still shopping for Thanksgiving, Walmart is definitely a great option for not only snagging your turkey, but also saving on all the fixings – stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans, mashed potatoes, etc…
