Are you looking for some ways to make a Valentine’s Day date night at home magical? Then you may want to head to ALDI for a grocery run!
While we have become big fans of ALDI over the last few years (honestly we have long been fans, but our love has just continued to grow), we don’t often think of grocery shopping there for Valentine’s Day. But this year, that is changing.
For some of us, staying in is the way to go. But even if you are staying home, that doesn’t mean we can’t still make Valentine’s Day or just date night a special occasion.
And that’s where the grocery aisles of ALDI come to play. In fact, we have picked five items that we think deserve a place on the date night shopping list.
5 things to help make date night magic happen from ALDI
- Fondue – One of our favorite ALDI finds has to be their fondue! Not only is it on their trend report, but if you love fondue and want to enjoy it at home for a special date night experience, then you’ll want to pick this up in their cheese section.
- Cranberry White Cheddar Cheese – One of the most delicious cheeses I have ever tried came from ALDI and it was a true surprise. The Emporium Selection Cranberry White Cheddar Cheese is a smooth cheese with so much flavor and it makes an amazing addition to any cheese board or charcuterie set up.
- Lobster Ravioli – Maybe it is just us, but lobster just seems like the perfect date night option. And if you love pasta, then lobster ravioli is the way to go, especially at Valentine’s Day/Galentine’s Day.
- Heart Shaped Cheesy Bread – Mama Cozzi‘s never disappoints. And just in time for Valentine’s Day we are here for their cheesy bread in the shape of a heart. It’s like bringing the romance to one of our favorite treats, and you have to love that.
- Charcuterie Tasting Tray – If you want to put out a personal charcuterie board, but don’t want to go all out and break out tons of cheeses and meats, ALDI has us covered with a pre-made Charcuterie Tasting Tray that perfectly delivers all the things we want in a meat and cheese board.
