Lady M channels a classic Latin American dessert with new Mille Crepe Cake
When it comes to decadent desserts, Lady M Confections continually delivers the goods. And their latest offering is another bit of pastry magic.
Inspired by a classic Latin American dessert, the newest Mille Crepe Cake from Lady M is something that is truly next level. The newest addition to their menu of cakes is none other than the Tres Leches Mille Crepes Cake.
And we got the chance to try it for ourselves! As a fan of a classic Tres Leches Cake, I was both excited and nervous to give this dessert a try with a French and Japanese flair. Luckily, as a fan of Lady M Confections, I knew that they could make magic happen. Which is exactly what they did!
The Tres Leches Mille Crepes Cake ended up being so decadent and flavorful. And while the texture of the crepes can take a bit to get used to, it just adds to the whole experience.
Lady M introduces their new Tres Leches Mille Crepes Cake to their menu
So what makes this crepe cake so special (besides the obvious)? In the press email we received introducing us to this new cake, it was described as,
"Featuring luxurious layers of milk-soaked vanilla sponge, Lady M’s irresistibly sweet and creamy Tres Leches Mille Crêpes brings together a classic combination of three milks with a hint of toasted coconut. Handmade cream is infused with blonde chocolate and gently brushed between every crêpe layer. The delicious dessert is finished with a light whipped cream topping and a sprinkling of crunchy coconut flakes."
Sounds amazing right? Well it absolutely is! And if you want to try this one for yourself, now is the time to do it.
According to the Lady M website, this cake is only available in their 9-inch round. And it will only be available from now until April 30. So if you want to enjoy one of these for Cinco de Mayo or even Mother’s Day, you will need to snag one early and keep it frozen until you need it (totally worth it).
Honestly, after trying this one, we wish it would become a permanent addition to the menu. But, since it is not, that means snagging an extra one for later.
Have you tried Lady M Confections before? What do you think of them giving us a Tres Leches Mille Crepes Cake? Will you be giving this cake a try for yourself? We want to know.
