Kit Kat finds inspiration at the bakery counter with latest flavor

When it comes to innovative flavors, Kit Kat knows what it is doing. And while often times it seems like the best flavors are only available in Japan, not this time. In fact, for their latest flavorful release, Kit Kat took inspiration from one of our favorite places – the Bakery!

According to the press email we received on behalf of Kit Kat introducing us to this new, limited edition flavor it seems that it is all about the most iconic baked good of all, the blueberry muffin. For fans of this tasty treat (that we love at breakfast or as a late night snack), you truly get the magic of the bake shop thanks to the way Kit Kat has folded in blueberries and even a “cake batter-like muffin flavor.” To add to the flavor, they also folded in graham cookie pieces to take this sweet treat to the next level.

This limited edition take on a classic treat will be available in multiple sizes too, which is apparently a first for the brands specialty flavors. So not only will we be able to get it in the classic size of 1.5 ounces (a standard Kit Kat bar if you didn’t know), but it will also be available in the 0.49 ounce snack size and the three ounce King size bars as well.

And if you want to give this new flavor a try, you won’t have to wait long, as these will begin showing up in stores nationwide this month. Of course, grab one when you can because these will only be available while supplies last. So if blueberry and blueberry muffins are your jam, then you will want to snag them while you can.

According to the brand manager for Kit Kat, Dan Williard,

"Our product creators have such passion for deciding which flavor KIT KAT should take on next and making sure it delivers for our fans. KIT KAT Blueberry Muffin has already become one of our favorites; it has all the taste of a freshly baked blueberry muffin, but no baking required!"

Now we can’t wait to get our hands on one of these limited edition bars so we can try it for ourselves, because this definitely sounds like a winner to us. And maybe it will become less of a limited edition offering and more of a seasonal thing if we all love this flavor as much as it sounds like we will.
