Stranger Things adds another breakfast staple to our nostalgia tour of the 1980s

Bring on the 1980s in Hawkins! Stranger Things is back for Season 4 on Netflix and with it, they are giving us another breakfast classic to snack on.

While Eleven had her Eggo waffles (and really she still does), new pal Eddie Munson is all about a different breakfast classic. In a scene where Eddie is actually in hiding, he can be seen snacking on a box of cereal. And it turns out that cereal is none other than the classic Post Honeycomb Cereal.

Honeycomb is a cereal that has been on the market since 1965, which is why it is no surprise to see it popping up in 1986 Hawkins, IN. And since this is still a staple of cereal aisles everywhere, it also means that if we are looking for the perfect snack to do a rewatch of Stranger Things or to get ready for the next part of Season 4, then this is the way to go.

It is clear that our Stranger Things characters are all about those snack foods, desserts, and breakfast foods, and we are here for it. With four seasons of the Netflix series under our belt at this point, we have plenty of snacking inspiration for binge watching new episodes and of course rewatching the older ones.

Stranger Things adds Honeycomb to the list of breakfast nostalgia from the 1980s
