Cinnabon is doing something different this summer. Instead of leaning into what they are known for – cinnamon – they are thinking outside the roll.
Known for what feels like cinnamon everything, especially a classic cinnamon roll, for summer 2022 they are taking their baked goods to the next level. How you may ask? By adding something new to the menu that actually drops the cinnamon all together.
Introducing the new Chocolate BonBites! According to the press release put out by Cinnabon,
"Chocolate BonBites are a new, chocolatey take on the beloved Cinnabon BonBites treat, baked with Cinnabon’s classic dough, layered with a rich, chocolate schmear on the inside and topped with both chocolate frosting and Cinnabon’s signature cream cheese frosting."
Cinnabon introduces their new Chocolate BonBites for a limited time
If you are anything like us, then you know these sound amazing! Listen, we are all for the ooey-gooey deliciousness of a Cinnabon cinnamon roll. And their classic BonBites are always a winner. But shaking things up and offering something new like this is definitely an exciting thing for our taste buds.
Of course, the Chocolate BonBites will not be around as a permanent addition to the menu. Instead, these are a limited time offering, that will apparently be here from now until the end of summer. (Or perhaps while supplies last.)
If you love the classic BonBites and you love chocolate, then this one is for you. They are available in two sizes – a four count and a 16 count. And the starting price for these bites of deliciousness? They start at just $4.79!
This is not the first time that Cinnabon has taken their BonBites to a whole new level of awesome, but it is definitely the first time that they have completely dropped their iconic cinnamon flavors.
We can’t wait to get our hands on some of these to try for ourselves. And perhaps if they are as amazing as we expect them to be, they will become the kind of fan favorite treat that will convince Cinnabon to bring them again and again.
What do you think Guilty Eaters? Are we heading over to the closest Cinnabon to get our hands on the new Chocolate BonBites? What do you think of them leaving out the cinnamon in this new treat?
