August 4 is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day and we here at Guilty Eats are all about celebrating this classic cookie flavor. While there are many takes on the chocolate chip cookie, we definitely think the original is the rock star of the cookie world.

But, just because the classic is the best of the best, that doesn’t mean we don’t love shaking things up and trying new things. In honor of National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, we are taking a look at five brands that know what they are doing when it comes to making delicious cookies.

From Famous Amos to Maxine’s Heavenly, these are a few brands that we think you will want to check out (if you haven’t already). So grab those cookies, pour a glass of cold milk (if that’s your thing), and let’s find some new cookie brands and flavors to fall in love with.

5 Chocolate Chip Cookie brands we need on hand at all times

  • Famous Amos – You can take a cookie journey around the world with Famous Amos. With four decadent flavors, including a take on a classic chocolate chip cookie that uses Belgian chocolate, there is something for every cookie lover. We are big fans of the Belgian chocolate chip and the British Salted Caramel and Chocolate Chip cookies.
  • Maxine’s Heavenly – Love your cookies crispy? Maxine’s Heavenly has you covered. Want them soft and chewy? They have that too. But what makes these cookies so special? How about the fact that they are made with “better-for-you alternatives that preserved that special taste while making the cookie nutrient-rich and guilt-free.” Sounds like a delicious winner to us.
  • Pepperidge Farm, Montauk, Soft Baked, Cookies, Milk Chocolate – You can never go wrong with a cookie from Pepperidge Farm and that is especially true with these soft baked chocolate chip cookies. The Montauk are perfect in every bite and honestly, these are the guilty eat we can’t resist.
  • Jacques Torres – If you have watched any of Nailed It! on Netflix, then you know exactly who Jacques Torres is. And if you have ever watched to try his baking, you are absolutely in luck. But what better way is there to enjoy Torres’ creations than with his decadent cookies on National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day? While there are a few different options to choose from, we can’t help but think that the best of the best for this foodie holiday are the Jacques’ Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies Dipped in Chocolate and of course the Jacques’ Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies.
  • Mrs. Fields – When it comes to classic cookies, Mrs. Fields delivers. This is especially true if you love chewy cookies. And if you want to go with a true classic for National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, then you absolutely need the Milk Chocolate Chip in your life. It’s a winner every single time.

But we want to know what your favorite cookie and cookie brands are. Are you a fan of Pepperidge Farm? Or do you prefer Famous Amos? Let us know your favorites and how you are celebrating this foodie holiday in the comments below.
