This past spring, Sauza Agave cocktails debuted their canned malt beverage cocktails inspired by Mexican aguas frescas (fresh waters). They come in fruity flavors like Lime Crush and Strawberry breeze.

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrated September 15-October 15, Sauza is hosting a fun contest. From August 17 through August 26 Sauza fans who live in the cities of Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami and New York City can enter the Que Viva el Mariachi Contest. A group of 4 to sometimes up to 10 musicians play mostly stringed instruments.

Sauza drinkers in the above listed cities can visit this site to enter. According to a press release that was shared with us at Guilty Eats, applicants who are 21 years of age or older, will have to explain “how and why they would like to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a mariachi band and enjoy the performance with family and friends.”
