Dill, sweet, garlic, half and halves…there are many different pickle varieties out there. Pickles fans can celebrate, as the brined cucumbers aren’t relegated to just a side garnish to your burger anymore. The snack industry recognizes how much we love pickles and there are lots of pickle-flavored snacks to fuel our addiction. Here is just a small sampling of a few recently released snacks you can enjoy:
Grillo’s Pickles has been using a 100-year-old family recipe to make their refrigerated pickles. When they declare themselves #worldsbestpickle you have to give them a try! This summer, they have two snack collaborations available for a limited time only.
First up, is the Utz x Grillo’s Classic Dill Pickle Chip. According to the product description, these chips are “a mouthwatering combination of dill, garlic, and the tang of vinegar on our original Utz® Potato Chip.” The chips come in a 2.625 oz On-the-Go bag, which retails for $2.19, and a 7.75 oz bag, which retails for $4.29.
Grillo’s also partnered with Ithaca Hummus for the limited-edition Pickle Hummus. Ithaca Hummus has been making their hummus since 2013. They use a cold-crafted process to keep ingredients fresh and only use real, natural ingredients. The two brands have combined to create Ithaca Grillo’s Pickles hummus. The hummus retails for $5.49 and is available at select retailers throughout the country.

Van Holten’s began in 1898, where it started out as a vinegar company. Since then, they’ve added sauerkraut and pickles to their product line. Today, they sell just pickles and pickle products and are probably most well known for their Pickle-In-A-Pouch, which they developed in 1939. This summer, you can cool off with their Pickle-Ice. These pickle-flavored ice pops are made with pickle brine and have added electrolytes, for a cold and refreshing treat. They are sold in a 24 ct. box (currently retails for $19.05) or an 8 ct. bag and can be purchased on Amazon or at select retailers nationwide.
Cracker fans will want to try Ritz Dill Pickle flavored Crisp & Thins. These potato and wheat chips are light, crunchy, and perfect for snacking on. They are available for a limited time only at Walmart. The 7.1-ounce box currently retails for $5.99. Online reviews note the dill pickle seasoning is flavorful but not overpowering.
Target’s in-store brand Good & Gather makes Dill Pickle Cashews. The 6 oz. resealable bag retails for $4.39 and is a perfect size to take for snacking on the go. The crunchy cashews are covered in a dill pickle seasoning. Reviewers have noted the dill pickle flavor is subtle.
