McDonalds is adding Big Mac Sauce cups to their menu for a limited time

McDonalds is probably the most iconic fast food restaurant. Whether you’re in the mood for some delicious crispy chicken nuggets, a juicy crispy chicken sandwich, or maybe just an order of their classic french fries, you’ll need some sort of dipping sauces to work with, right? Well, just in case you’re getting bored of what they already have and just so happen to love their Big Mac Sauce, then you’re in luck – that’s the newest sauce being added to the lineup!

Starting later this week, Big Mac Sauce cups will be available across all McDonalds locations!

Will you be trying the brand new Big Mac Sauce cups from McDonalds?

Yes, you heard that correctly, McDonalds will be adding iconic Big Mac Sauce cups to their lineup of some already super delicious sauce cups, but of course as everything in fast food is these days, only for a limited time (that’s the worst part of this whole entire story). Starting on April 27, 2023, you will be able to order said sauce cups exclusively through the restaurant’s mobile app. If you order an order of McNuggets, then the sauce will come at no extra charge, but of course it can still be purchased a la carte with anything else that you’d like.

Just in case you’re a tad bit unfamiliar with what Big Mac Sauce actually is, here’s what’s in it, according to a nearly perfect copycat at-home recipe:

  • Mayonnaise
  • French Dressing
  • Sweet Pickle Relish
  • White Onion
  • White Vinegar
  • White Sugar
  • Salt

Many, including myself and my boyfriend, agree that this is basically just their version of Thousand Island dressing, while others may beg to differ.

Adding Big Mac Sauce to their menus for dipping options is just another thing that McDonalds is doing to try and drum up some nostalgic business. Back in October, if you can remember, they added some limited-edition adult happy meals with some super cool collectible figures.
