Annie’s celebrates Disney’s The Little Mermaid with fun packaging

“Under the sea, under the sea….”

On May 26th, 34 years after the original animated film debuted, Disney’s The Little Mermaid  returns to the big screen. Fans will reunite with Ariel as she attempts to become part of Prince Eric’s world. To celebrate the release of the movie, Annie’s has debuted limited-edition movie-themed packaging on select products.

Disney introduced us to Ariel in 1989, kicking off a new era of classic animation. I remember seeing this movie in the theatre and falling in love with both the music and the storyline. Fans will now get to see stars like Halle Bailey and Melissa McCarthy and hear actors Daveed Diggs, Jacob Tremblay and actress Awkwafina on the big screen, as Disney brings its live-action adaptation to theatres.

Annie’s was founded in 1989 by Annie Withey. While the company began by making it’s well-known mac and cheese, their portfolio of products now includes waffles, fruit snacks, cheddar bunnies, dressings and more.

Annie’s releases limited-edition The Little Mermaid packaging!

Children will love seeing The Little Mermaid in the theatre and then getting to see Ariel on the box of their favorite snacks at home!

According to a recent press release that was shared with Guilty Eats, the Annie’s products that will feature the limited time movie-themed packaging include:

Available in Shells and White Cheddar, Shells and Real Aged Cheddar, and Classic Cheddar, these fun pasta flavors are made with real cheddar cheese and organic pasta and are the perfect way to add some magical fun to dinner."

"Annie’s Organic Bunny Grahams: Available in honey, chocolate chip chocolate and honey, plus birthday cake, these graham cracker snacks feature limited-edition “The Little Mermaid” packaging so that you and Princess Ariel can add some Disney magic to snack time."

"Annie’s Organic Cheddar Bunnies: These snack crackers featuring limited-edition “The Little Mermaid” packaging are bursting with cheddar cheese flavor and will bring joy to anyone who tries them. Made with real cheese and without artificial flavors or synthetic colors, they are perfect for lunches, after-school snacking or anytime."

Annie’s has also partnered with Fandango for a special movie ticket deal. Fans will not only get to enjoy the special themed packaging on select items, but with the purchase of three or more participating products, they can see The Little Mermaid for only $13.
