Earlier this week the news broke about the Real Cheeseburger that was available at Burger King in Thailand. The reaction was about what you might expect, running the gamut from “That’s disgusting!” to “Man I gotta try one of those!”

For those that are curious, we here at Guilty Eats fall squarely into the first category.

Now it has been announced that Burger King Canada, home of the Franken Whopper (which I didn’t get try try because it was only available in Canada, but I’m not bitter) is again trying something new. But this time it sounds like a menu item plenty of people would want to try.

Say hello to Burger King Ketchup Nuggets folks.

Burger King Ketchup Chicken Nuggets are only available in Canada.

New Ketchup Chicken Nuggets are the latest flavor combination available from our fast food friends North of the Border. They follow their popular Dill Pickle Chicken Nuggets from last year which combined dill pickles and chicken nuggets.

This time they are taking their chicken nuggets and coating them in a special ketchup flavored breading. The result is a crimson nugget with a distinct ketchup taste.

As I said when Burger King Canada offered the Dill Pickle Nuggets, these Ketchup Nuggets would be a huge hit in the United States. Most people already dip their nuggets on ketchup anyway so why not just combine the two?

Will these come to the States? It’s entirely possible. I mean, if Burger King likes money and selling more nuggets then you would think releasing these here would be a simple decision.
