McCormick announces a Cookie Quest Contest

One of the tastiest parts of the winter holidays is the cookies! It’s always fun to see what people whip up for their annual cookie exchanges and dessert platters. Will they play it safe with classics like iced sugar cookies, gingerbread men, or peanut butter blossoms? Or will they get a little more creative?

This year, McCormick is upping the ante with its Cookie Quest—a search for the best holiday cookie recipe on Instagram. Could you be the $10,000 grand prize winner?

McCormick has partnered with Milk Bar, Christina Tosi’s award-winning bakery, to provide inspiration for this sweet competition. And who knows cookies better than Christina? Together, they’ve created the Milk Bar x McCormick Candy Cane Pretzel Bark Cookie. Made with McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract and Peppermint Extract, this cookie strikes the perfect balance between sweet and salty for an irresistibly minty holiday treat — all in under 30 minutes.

The recipe can be found on the McCormick website for you to try and possibly include in your holiday cookie platter. If you want to try the cookie straight from the source, select Milk Bar locations will be selling the cookie for a limited time. 

In honor of National Cookie Day on Dec. 4, the first 100 customers at participating Milk Bar locations will receive a free Milk Bar x McCormick Candy Cane Pretzel Bark Cookie!

Starting Nov. 19, competitors can enter the Cookie Quest contest on Instagram, which runs through Dec. 8. Post a video of your favorite original recipe featuring a McCormick product, along with a cherished baking memory. Be sure to show off the finished cookie, too! Tag @McCormickSpice and use the hashtags #McCormickCookieQuest and #Contest. While the contest ends Dec. 8, you’ll have to wait until Dec. 19 to find out if your cookie is the winner.
