Today is going to be packed. Packed with burritos. Because April 4, 2024, is also known as National Burrito Day, aka the day we celebrate all things burrito. And the great news for you is that there are plenty of National Burrito Day deals you can snag today at major chains like Taco Bell, Chipotle, Del Taco, and so many more.

Look, a burrito is a big chunk of food. You’ve got the tortilla, and a ton of fillings inside. And you might be hard-pressed to eat more than in a day. But darn it, you are going to try, right? At the very least there are three meals in a day – so if you want to snag a breakfast burrito, a lunch burrito, and a dinner burrito… I believe in you. You can do this. National Burrito Day comes but once a year, and you don’t want Burrito Claus to be mad at you, right?

[Editor’s Note: Burrito Claus gets mad at you if you don’t eat three burritos today, and then on the next National Burrito Day he forces you to eat four burritos. I don’t know why he does this or where he comes from, but that’s the lore!]

Anyway, let’s get to the deals, right? Here are eight chains to check out today on National Burrito Day. And if you don’t see your fave listed here, as always check with your local restaurant to see what’s up.

Taco Bell National Burrito Day Deals:

Taco Bell is running a deal in the app: buy a burrito, get a second burrito for equal or lesser value for 50% off. In addition, you can get $5 an order of $20 or more from DoorDash; a free burrito with an order of $22 or more from Grubhub.

On Uber Eats if you buy one Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, you get another one of equal or lesser value. Better than the Taco Bell app deal, but more restrictive! What to do! Both? Both!

Chipotle National Burrito Day Deals:

Chipotle is running a contest to try and break BOGO burritos out of a burrito vault with a matching game. Which sounds pretty hard, and it sort of is mostly because only 50,000 players per day win a BOGO code. However, as a bonus, you can also submit to be one of 53 people to win free burritos for a year. Check at more at the link above!

El Pollo Loco National Burrito Day Deal:

The chain is giving every rewards app member a free BOGO code, not valid for combos, good today only. Use it quick!

Baja Fresh National Burrito Day Deal:

As long as you’re a member of the Baja Fresh club and order online with code BURRITO2024, you get a free buy one, get one free burrito. That’s all you gotta do!

Bubbakoo’s Burritos National Burrito Day Deal:

If you’re a member of Bubbakoo’s Green Room loyalty program, which I think means you love the 2015 horror movie with Patrick Stewart, you can buy a burrito and then get a second, free burrito at a later date. It’s like National Burrito Month up in here!

Taco John’s National Burrito Day Deal:

If you live near a Taco John’s and are part of the Bigger Bolder Reward program, you can get $2 off any Meat and Potato Burrito Combo, today only. That includes a burrito, an order of Potato Olés, and a drink. Olés are basically little spiced tater tots, so sounds good to me!

Dog Haus National Burrito Day Deal:

Log into the rewards app, buy one burrito, get one free. Hmm, starting to see a pattern here!

Moe's Southwest Grill National Burrito Day Deal:

Moe’s is offering a – you guessed it – buy one burrito, get one of equal or lesser value deal. However, the twist here is that you don’t need to be a loyalty member*: you can get the deal in app, online, or in the store, no frills.

*While writing this, my autocomplete suggested “loyal customer” which seems to suggest there are disloyal customers who are constantly betraying Moe’s Southwest Grill. We must arrest those people on sight. Or maybe Burrito Claus will get them.
