McDonald’s: Will the new global range be limited to Chicago only?

The new McDonald’s global range is currently available at the corporate headquarters in Chicago, but that’s it. Will it ever be released to other McDonald’s restaurants?

If you are lucky to live in or near Chicago, you could take a little trip to the McDonald’s corporate headquarters restaurant where you will be able to sample the new global range menu.

Featuring items like, Hong Kong’s wasabi shake shake fries, the Australian spicy buffalo chicken sandwich, French blue cheese and bacon quarter pound burger and other mouth watering menu items. It’s certainly worth a visit if you can make it.

Problem is, the new global range can only be found in the Chicago restaurant. The only other places you will find the range is Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, Germany, France and Italy. So, you know, just down the road.

Understandably it’s not ideal, all of the menu items look too good to be true and McDonald’s have gone above and beyond creating them. Many customers will be hoping to grab one of the items but will be sadly disappointed when they find out they won’t be able to get anything.

Annoyingly there appears to be no intention for the global menu to be launched elsewhere. Nothing has been formerly announced by McDonald’s saying they intended to launch the global menu around the country.

That doesn’t mean they won’t ever do it. To be fair to McDonald’s, while they haven’t announced anything to say they won’t release the menu further, they haven’t said they will not either. They could just be waiting to see how the menu items are received in Chicago before making their mind up.

For now however, we should just assume that it will not come out elsewhere. That it will only be available in Chicago only. Then, if they do decide to release them in other McDonald’s it will be nice surprise.
