Domino’s has launched vegan cheesy garlic bread in Australia, but will the new menu item make its way overseas?

The way we eat is changing. People have different views on what they should eat and where their food comes from like never before. Restaurants and fast food chains are adapting to the changes, but not everyone. Domino’s Australia have adapted but what about the US?

Domino’s Australia recently announced the introduction of their vegan cheesy garlic bread. Their original garlic bread option was already vegan friendly however the cheese was not.

After some feedback from customers and listening to the advice given, they decided to roll out the vegan cheesy garlic bread. It has since been met with much enthusiasm and praise by customers.

But what about us in the US?

There are plenty of people who are vegan over here. Will we get the same option as those in Australia as well?

So far it doesn’t look like there are any plans to introduce the menu item here. Not that we are the only ones left out, Domino’s UK are also not seeing the item being added to menu either.

That’s not to say that it never will. It may well become available eventually. It has only just been unveiled in Australia after all. They could be waiting to see how customers react before making the decision.

There is an alternative for vegan customers anyway. You can always order your Domino’s pizza, and garlic bread, without the cheese and opt for vegetable toppings only. Domino’s give you the option to customize your food, making it an ideal place to eat for those who eat specific foods.
