There’s a rumor circulating that McDonald’s Cheesy Bacon Fries could be rolled out nationwide and I for one would welcome the news with open arms and a big old smile on my face.

McDonald’s Cheesy Bacon Fries are a bit like the McDonald’s McRibb sandwich. They come and go in their select areas from time to time. Right now, they have been spotted in the likes of Hawaii and Northern California. However, if the rumors are to be believed, the Cheesy Bacon Fries could be rolling out nationwide.

It should be said, once again, before we go any further, that this is rumor and rumor alone. So please, don’t get your hopes up and take this one with a pinch of salt.

This rumor comes from a gentleman called Mark Kalinowski. An analyst of Kalinowski Equity Research. He noticed that the McDonald’s Cheesy Bacon Fries where being tested in northern California branches. Branches, that have been the testing location for products that have rolled out nationwide in the past.

It’s obviously not an airtight prediction that you can’t poke holes into. You obviously can. However, it does shine a ray of hope, albeit a very small ray of hope, to fans who have wanted to see Cheesy Bacon Fries brought to their local McDonald’s restaurant.

It’s the one major problem fast food chains suffer from. They bring out a new menu item to test, but only in limited locations. So roughly 99% of us can’t try it out. No matter how much we might like to.

So let’s keep the fingers crossed that this rumor does indeed turn out to be true.
