If you are not up for cooking a Christmas dinner there will be a restaurant somewhere willing to serve you. But will it be Olive Garden? Is Olive Garden open on Christmas Day 2018?
There are a number of reasons why we might need to go in search of a restaurant during Christmas Day. We might have forgotten to defrost the turkey, or perhaps we burnt the turkey, maybe we are just not very good cooks, or perhaps we just can’t be bothered. Whatever the reason is, will Olive Garden be able to come to the rescue? Is Olive Garden open on Christmas Day 2018?
No. Quite simply, no. Olive Garden is not open on Christmas Day for us lowly souls looking for a place to eat. The Italian restaurant chain will have closed its doors for Christmas and will not be back until Dec. 26.

This is according to the official Olive Garden website. Which has a notification for visitors to the website explaining that all restaurants will close on Christmas Eve at 20:00. They will be closed all day Christmas. And will not be back open until Dec. 26. There are some exceptions but none of those exceptions apply to the restaurants.
So if you had your eye on Olive Garden this Christmas you need to make some new plans.

When the restaurant reopens its doors after Christmas it will be business as usual and operating under its normal opening hours, So you don’t have to worry about reduced hours or anything. You can pop down as you would if it was any other day.
If you do need a place to grab a bite to eat during the holiday your best point of call is a fast food chain of some sorts. McDonald’s, Burger King, and even Starbucks are all open.
