Is Red Lobster open on Christmas Day 2018?

Christmas Day normally involves turkey dinner. But what if you don’t fancy turkey? Maybe you fancy seafood instead. Is Red Lobster open on Christmas Day 2018?
Not everybody likes turkey. Not everybody wants to cook Christmas dinner either. Sometimes plans just don’t turn out the way you hoped they would during Christmas. And when that happens it’s sometimes easier to just nip out to a restaurant and grab a bite to eat. And if that is you, will Red Lobster be one of the restaurants open during the holidays? Is Red Lobster open on Christmas Day 2018?
Well if you were hoping for some seafood on Christmas Day instead of a turkey, I am afraid you are out of luck. Red Lobster will not be open during Christmas.

The casual dining restaurant plans to close all of their outlets except for one, the one located in Times Square, New York. So if you live in NYC, you can nip down to a Red Lobster during Christmas Day if you wish. But for everybody else around the country, it’s a no go I’m afraid.
They won’t be closed for very long, however. If you really want a bite to eat from the restaurant chain then you will only need to wait until the very next day. Business resumes as normal for Red Lobster on Dec. 26.
So hey, at least there is some good news. It’s only going to last for 24 hours.

There are places serving food that are open during the holiday. The majority are fast food restaurants such as McDonald’s, Burger King, and Taco Bell. Coffee shops like Starbucks are open as well during the holiday, so there are places you can visit during the 24 hours no go Red Lobster period.
