Cadbury is looking to hire a chocolate taste tester
Chocolate lovers rejoice! Your new dream job is here and hiring thanks to Cadbury. The company announced they were looking for chocolate taste testers, and the only requirement is a love of confectionery.
It might only be a part-time position, but if you love chocolate, then Cadbury is looking for you. The company announced that they are paying $14 per hour to a person who has a passion for confectionery, while also having discerning taste buds.
While this might seem easy and like the perfect job for someone with a sweet tooth, according to Delish, there is one potential drawback, and that is if you have a food allergy. Basically, if you have any type of allergy to dairy, gluten or nuts, then this simply is not the job for you. But, if you are looking to expand your horizons and take your love of chocolate to the next level, then it may be time for a career change.
Just think, not only will you get paid to taste test chocolate, but you will even have an official title while you are at it. And it seems that the company behind Cadbury, Mondelez International, is looking for a Chocolate & Cocoa Beverage Taster as well, according to This Is Insider. Which means, there are actually two jobs up for grabs, and if that doesn’t get you excited, nothing will.

The last time the company had an opening like this they received nearly 1,500 applications in a 24 hour time period, which means if you really want to snag this coveted dream job, you will want to apply as fast as you can. Of course, with how popular a job like this might be, the Mondelez is only accepting applications for a limited time, so the sooner you apply the better.
Now, I don’t know about you, but the fact that there are no elaborate qualifications beyond a passion for confectionaries makes me think this job is a true dream job.
Not only will they help train you and your taste buds, but if you have a love for chocolate, you are basically getting paid to eat your favorite thing. How can you possibly go wrong?
As Cadbury is a particular favorite for many of us, the idea of working with the company to taste test their chocolates seems like a chance to play Willy Wonka in real life. And I am all for making magic happen like this.
