Disney to open a Beauty and the Beast themed bar at their Grand Floridian Hotel
It’s time to be the Grand Floridian’s guest if you are a Beauty and the Beast fan, as the Disney hotel plans a themed bar straight out of the movie.
Are you a fan of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast? Do you wish you could step into the enchanted forest, the magical castle, or even the formal library? Then you are in luck, as the Grand Floridian Hotel is transforming their former Mizner’s Lounge and Commander Porter’s into a themed bar based on the iconic story of Beauty and the Beast.
According to Delish, the new bar will feature four very unique and distinct spaces that are each associated with a specific scene from the movies (both the animated Disney classic and the live action film). And while we may not get to see the ballroom from the movie, we will get a stunning chandelier featured inspired by the original fixture in the films, while will remind us of both Belle’s stunning golden ballgown and the Beast’s magical rose.
One area of the bar and lounge will be made to look like the castle’s rather impressive library space. Another area will be inspired by the enchanted forest. There will also be an outdoor patio area which is inspired by the Beast’s private terrace.

What makes this entire concept so amazing is that it really is for everyone as you don’t have to be a visitor of the park to hit up this Beauty and the Beast themed bar. In fact, no tickets are needed, as the Grand Floridian Hotel is a Disney property outside of the actual park. For locals, this means being able to enjoy a night of magic without having to head to the parks, while guests have the convenience of magic after a long day of park hopping.
While there is no need to break out a formal ballgown like Belle wore for her special night with the Beast, that doesn’t mean you can’t get your glam on. In fact, we bet you would be the belle of the ball if you did show up decked out to the nines.
There is no word yet as to what the menu for this inspired bar and lounge might look like. But, we can only imagine there will be drinks and potentially bites to eat all with iconic names that all take inspiration from moments and even characters in the films.
Although the Beauty and the Beast themed bar and lounge does not open until the Fall of 2019, that doesn’t mean we can’t start planning our trips now. After all, it’s not every day that magic like this happens.
