Enlightened Ice Cream launches new plant-based, low-calorie bars

Enlightened Ice Cream is expanding its line of plant-based ice-creams by launching a new line of dairy-free, low-calorie bars.

Enlightened Ice Cream is well known for their unique and tasty flavors of plant-based, dairy free, pints, we’ve tested a few out for ourselves right here at Guilty Eats and were super impressed, and now the ice cream makers are making the natural transition of introducing dairy-free, low-calorie bars to their line up.

Using an almond milk base, the new ice cream bars are plant-based and, as per the official press release, are 100% vegan and gluten-free.

Enlightened Ice Cream has launched five flavors in this new line up. Each flavor is sure to be a huge surprise to your taste buds, sending them on an adventure, unlike anything they have ever experienced before.

Check out the all the flavors being launched just below:

  • Salted Caramel – A salted caramel bar with a decadent caramel swirl
  • Mint Chip – A classic mint flavored bar with chocolate chips mixed in
  • Mocha Chocolate Chip – Chocolate chips have been mixed in with the mocha flavor bar
  • Monkey Business – A banana flavor bar paired with swirls of smooth peanut butter and chocolate chips
  • Peanut Butter & Jelly – PB&J flavor, raspberry is the flavor of Jelly used here

Enlighted Ice Cream has announced you can find the new bars either online at Ice Cream Source or in the following stores; Albertsons, HEB, Safeway, Sprouts, and Vons.

While the main draw of the new ice cream bars is how they are both Vegan and Gluten free. If you are a massive fan of ice cream in general and are not fussed whether it is dairy-free or not, I’m sure you will love all the new flavors. With them being inspired by quirky classics they are sure to be a hit with everyone.
