Sam Adams has launched a new beer, 26.2 brew, specifically for those who are active. Is it any good? Will it truly not slow you down? We’ve got the gulp, below!

Here at Guilty Eats, there’s never a shortage of drink coverage. We love fast food and snacks sure, but you can’t forget about a beverage that’ll go nicely with it all. In fact, it’s not the first time we cover Sam Adams, either. So when they reached out about their latest, we were delighted!

I had never heard about 26.2 Brew, but when I mentioned it to some friends, one had! He’s a runner, so he keeps up with the proper snacks and drinks they are able to have to keep going. My friend goes on to tell me he loves the beer. Am I jealous that he tried it first and I wasn’t the one to break the news about it to him? A bit. But now I was even more intrigued.

Here’s the deal: 26.2 Brew is a light wheat ale with Himalayan salt. It’s 120 calories, has 0g sugars and 4% ABV. It’s one of the best light option (after doing some research) for runners and those who wish to remain active. Because, I don’t need to tell you that beer is known to slow you down.

MORE DRINKS: FitVine Wines is the drink to indulge in this summer season (and beyond)

Now, I’ll be the first to admit I’m not very active. I try my best, guys, but I do help run Guilty Eats. So it’s a challenge aka good excuse! And like 26.2 Brew says, you don’t need to run a marathon to enjoy it! Still, there’s no denying 26.2 Brew is actually very delicious. It’s smooth and definitely taste and feels lighter.

This summer season, nothing can top an ice-cold beer, and 26.2 Brew has sprinted and landed at the top of our list. Keep an eye out for it when we publish our second edition of summer drinks roundup!
