It’s time for KFC to shake up their sides menu. And it looks like they are starting with some Secret Recipe Fries in select markets.

For fans of KFC, you know that it has been a few years since they decided to shake up their sides menu. While they may have no problem adding new featured products to the menu, their sides are usually relegated to (not surprisingly) the side. But now it looks like they are testing out a new side in select markets and we are definitely excited bit this news.

According to Chew Boom, in Oklahoma City and Roanoke, Virginia, customers at select KFC locations can test the new Secret Recipe Fries. (We might be a little jealous here.)

KFC describes these new fries as “crispy, crunchy and finger lickin’ good.” And what makes them so delicious? The fact that they are coated in the Secret Recipe seasoning we already know and love.

In the current test markets there are two different ways that the Secret Recipe Fries can be enjoyed. Not only can they be enjoyed all on their own, but in Oklahoma City customers can get them with a Tenders & Fries Bucket Combo and over in Roanoke, Virginia customers can snag the fries as part of the $5 Fill Up option.

However, there is also a Secret Recipe Fries locator that you can use to see if any other locations are offering these fries. This means that even if you are not in one of the test market areas, you could still get your hands on these fries earlier than everyone else. With 200 additional stores offering these fries, it is entirely possible that you could be one of the lucky few to give this new side a chance.

We looked for ourselves, but sadly we did not make the cut here in Dallas. But we have high hopes that these fries end up doing well in the test markets and become a nationwide offering.
