To help millions of American fast food eaters save money while feeding the family, Arby’s is offering $1 kids meals, with a catch of course.

To help millions of families who have to feed their kids during the coronavirus outbreak, Arby’s is rolling out a new deal aimed at keeping the kiddos fed, while saving you some money in the process.

According to Chew Boom, Arby’s is offering a new $1 kids meal through April 19. Now you’re probably wondering “what’s the catch?” Well, the catch is you have to buy a regularly priced meal to take advantage of the $1 kids meal. The offer also isn’t available over delivery. You have to go through a participating location’s drive-thru to obtain the deal, which might seem kind of crazy in a way.

The beating mantra is for everyone to stay at home for the moment to contain the outbreak, so why is Arby’s not offering the $1 kids meal through delivery? Arby’s has long been the chain that throws out deal-after-deal-after-deal to lure customers in, but this particular deal should be available for delivery to allow patrons to stay at home.

I’m not the head of Arby’s marketing, so there’s only so much I can do.

Despite that one gripe, this is a deal that I think many families should take advantage of. The offer is valid for all kid’s meal options, but you’re limited to one kid’s meal at the discounted price, meaning that, you if you have more than one child at home, you may have to decide between  your children as to which one would get the benefit of the $1 kid’s meal.

Nevertheless, this is a worthy deal in our book, and one that will save you a bit of dough in a time when keeping the finances stable is priority number two, with priority number one being to #flattenthecurve.
