Just in time for National Pretzel Day Rold Gold delivers a buttery new flavor
Did you know that April 26 is National Pretzel Day? And what better way is there to celebrate than with Rold Gold Pretzels’ newest buttery flavor?
Are you a pretzel lover? Do you love everything from the standard bag of pretzels to the fresh-baked mall pretzels? Then there is no better time to celebrate National Pretzel Day than now, when Rold Gold is giving us a brand new flavor to fall in love with.
I’m not saying you only have to eat pretzels on National Pretzel Day, after all, there is no way I can resist those baked, buttery pretzels at the mall. However, doesn’t it seem like the perfect day to try something new?
And lucky for us, Rold Gold is definitely bringing the new with the help of their latest release, the Rold Gold Recipe No. 5 Savory Butter. I swear these pretzels are what those baked buttery pretzels could be if they were crispy, crunchy in a bag.

While I love more of a standard pretzel flavor in my Rold Gold Pretzels, I was pleasantly surprised by this Savory Butter recipe. Not only were these mini pretzel sticks perfect for snacking on straight out of the bag, but they also make a great vehicle for dips.
I don’t know about you, but I love dipping pretzels into nacho cheese/queso. And that is exactly what I did with the Recipe No. 5 Savory Butter pretzels. In fact, I didn’t stop with just cheese dip either, as these pretzels were perfect for dipping in hummus, tzatziki sauce, ranch and so much more.
These new Rold Gold pretzels were definitely so much better than I was expecting, even if I didn’t know what to expect (it was the savory butter that threw me off). Honestly, this new flavor of pretzel might just be a great addition to parties and snack time, because they made dipping even more fun than before.
