Looking for some recipes to make delicious tea based cafe recipes at home? Have no fear as TAZO tea is here for us with some brilliant recreations.

Are you missing your local cafe? Do you want to be able to enjoy a fancy tea beverage or latte at home? Well TAZO tea wants to help.

As a fan of TAZO tea, I have never really done much when it comes to crafting drinks with these teas. Unless it has already been created for me, I usually just drink their tea fresh brewed or as part of one of their bottled drinks.

But none of that is going to give us the cafe experience we have been missing and craving. And if you want the cafe experience at home, then you need these TAZO recipes and ideas in your life right now!

Here’s the thing about the cafe experience. I love lattes. Whether it is a matcha green tea latte or a chai latte, there is something about these drinks that is comforting and familiar. So when TAZO is willing to give us recipes to create our own takes on cafe classics, I am here for it.

Luckily, they have given us three different recipes that we can’t wait to recreate. And thanks to Cody Goldstein of Muddling Memories for TAZO, we get two of these recipes (the Dirty Chai and the Golden Turmeric specifically). Check out the TAZO recipes below:

Dirty Chai aka the Spiced Chai Latte

  • 4 ounces of TAZO Chai tea (you can either brew it yourself or snag their concentrated tea)
  • 1 ounce of milk (you can choose any milk type you prefer in a latte)
  • 1/2 ounce of honey
  • 1 shot of espresso (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Combine all of the ingredients in a mixing glass, minus the espresso. Pour the mixture in a mug and heat to desired temperature using either a coffee wand or a portable steamer (either of which can be found on Amazon, although I heated mine in the microwave and then mixed it with a whisk to get it frothy). Add the espresso if desired. While your latte is ready to go, you can always garnish it with a cinnamon stick for an added layer of cafe brilliance.

If there is one latte that makes me think of Fall and weather that is starting to cool, it would have to be the Chai Latte. And while I have never added espresso to my Chai Latte, it is definitely something I want to try soon. Honestly, this drink might be the perfect way to end summer, even if we aren’t quite ready for that yet.

Golden Turmeric Latte

  • 4 ounces of TAZO Golden Turmeric Latte Concentrate
  • 2 ounces of milk
  • 1/2 ounce of agave (this can be substituted with honey or even brown sugar)
  • 3 slices of fresh ginger
  • ground nutmeg (this is more as a garnish)

Take a shaker and add the Golden Turmeric Latte Concentrate, the agave, and milk. Next, add in the ginger and muddle it together. Add ice to the shaker and then shake for at least 3 seconds. Strain the mix into a glass over ice and then add the nutmeg garnish to the top.

This may be a latte, but it also sounds surprisingly healthy. Maybe it is all the ginger and turmeric talking, but this sounds like a latte we absolutely need to try at least once.

Hibiscus “Pink Drink”

  • 1 tea bag of TAZO Passion Tea
  • 1 cup of hot water
  • 2 tablespoons of heavy cream
  • 1/8 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • Sweetener of choice (think sugar, honey, Stevia, etc.)

Take the tea bag and steep it in the hot water. In a separate glass, add cubes of ice and then pour both the vanilla extract and the heavy cream together. After the tea has finished steeping, you will want to throw out the tea bag and then put the liquid in the fridge to cool it down for a bit longer. You will then pour the brewed tea over the cream and vanilla. The best way to get a solid mix with this drink is mix the liquid back and forth between glasses (or you can keep it simple and use a long spoon to mix everything thoroughly).

Who else thinks this sounds amazing, but also calls to mind a classic Starbucks drink of the same name? In fact, if this ends up tasting anything like its inspiration, I may end up staying home more often and creating an at home cafe experience more often.

Honestly, all of these drinks are making me think of relaxing moments in a cafe, which is exactly what TAZO was hoping to achieve. I can’t wait to give TAZO’s Pink Drink a try for myself, especially if it ends up tasting as good as it sounds.
