Wendy’s has launched a new rewards program
Wendy’s made many of their fans happy on Tuesday and it had nothing to do with tacos. The popular fast food restaurant has finally heard the call and launched a rewards program via their app and online. So now anyone who enjoys eating Wendy’s has a chance to get free items once they have accrued enough points with them. This is similar to programs from Starbucks and Chipotle rewards.
The rewards vary but there is truly something for anyone who likes to frequent Wendy’s to satisfy hunger, thirst, or desert. You can get anything from a four piece chicken nugget order (who doesn’t love those) or a small Frosty for a mere 150 points. Other highlights include the classic Junior Bacon Cheeseburger and the Double Stack for 300 points. There are side items such as a small order of french fries and a small chili. You can even earn enough points for a kid’s meal or the always hearty Baconator sandwich.
The rewards also include breakfast items like a small coffee, the breakfast Baconator, and the delectable honey butter chicken biscuit. You can even buy just a sandwich and use your rewards earnings for a small order of seasoned breakfast potatoes to go along with it.

To take advantage of the new rewards program, all you have to do is either sign up for an online account or sign up in the Wendy’s mobile app. To earn points, you can either pre-order online or in the app or once you order at a Wendy’s location, you just have to scan a QR code in the app when you place/pay for your order.
Wendy’s is taking care of everyone by giving them 10 points for every dollar they spend. At the 10 point rate, getting to a free four piece nuggets order can be achieved pretty quickly. Even a person just buying for themselves has a chance of hitting a reward tier by the time they reach four or less visits or purchases. As a bonus, Wendy’s is also rewarding double points for a limited time. This truly is a great bonus to kickstart the program.

The Wendy’s rewards program is being accepted at Wendy’s locations nationwide. You will have to keep in mind that rewards points will expire after 365 days so make sure you use them before they are gone. Also, any claimed rewards will expire after 30 days if you do not take them. It is best to claim and use during a transaction. Other than that, enjoy free Wendy’s and rack up those points.
