KFC and Crocs collaborate for a new chicken-themed shoe – the KFC Crocs!

Sometimes, you see something and you’re only response can be “I’m sorry, what??” That’s pretty much what my reaction was to these KFC Crocs. Whoever thought up this collaboration is either a genius or has a very weird brain.

You’ll either think these are amazing and that you must have them immediately or you’ll laugh your head off. I don’t think any of us had KFC shoes on our 2020 bingo card.

So what do they look like? It’s a pretty generic Croc shape with the open back, openings cut out of the front and the top, and a strap to hold your foot in.

Where it gets interesting is that they’re covered in a fried chicken print and the sole of the shoe is printed with red and white stripes to make it look like a KFC bucket.

KFC Crocs become available at the end of July

But that’s not all. You might be thinking how could there be more, but I had to save the best for last and that’s the Jibbitz. If you’re not a Croc connaisseur, Jibbitz are the little charms you can place in the holes on top of the clogs. In this case, these come with two removable and CHICKEN-SCENTED Jibbitz that look like fried chicken drumsticks.

Why are they scented? Why? Will this combat bad smelling feet? Inquiring minds want to know!

All jokes aside, these shoes were made to help support a good cause. For every pair of KFC Crocs that are sold (for $59.99), KFC will donate $3 to their foundation REACH Education Grant Program that helps employees at KFC’s restaurants go to college with the aid of scholarships.

Are they available to buy now? Not quite. They can be purchased starting Tuesday, July 28 at 12 pm ET. Despite them being a bit ridiculous looking, they will no doubt sell out quickly, so get them while you can if you’re interested.
