In what could be the best snack news of the year, Frito-Lay will now let you customize a variety chip pack to your own twisted liking.
If you were ever a kid, and I’m pretty sure that means all of us, then you remember the unfettered joy of the Frito-Lay Variety Chip pack. There were few things as thrilling as plunging your hand into the big bag and seeing what you came out with.
Would it be something you liked or something that would cause you to demand a do over? It was a tough call since the Variety Pack usually only came with so many options. Sometimes fate could be a cruel mistress and you’d end up with SunChips. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
But imagine if you could have a Frito-Lay Variety Pack were every choice was a winner? Where you decided what it included and you never had to risk another bag of SunChips as long as you live?

Our fellow foodies over at Delish are reporting that you can now order a fully customized Frito-Lay Variety Pack and that it will only set you back $10. You read that right. For just a couple of fives you can create your very own Variety Pack and make sure every time you reach your hand it, you pick a winner.
Just head over to the Frito-Lay website to begin creating a Variety Pack the likes of which the world has never seen. There are over 40 options available to you and it includes a dizzying array of choices. Everything from Lay’s and Ruffles chips to a variety of Doritos and Fritos not to mention more Cheetos then anyone could want.
And yes, SunChips are there too. If that’s how you roll.
Now the only catch is that the greatness that is the customizable Frito-Lay Variety Pack is only available on the East Coast currently. However, word is that by early next year it will be available nation wide for all to enjoy. So start mapping out your perfect variety pack now people.
