Will Whole Foods be open on Christmas Day?

For many of us, shopping at Whole Foods is an epic foodie experience, and that holds true for the holidays as well. But are they open on Christmas Day?

When it comes to finding a wide variety of organic products, unique foods, such as international cheeses and meats, and even flowers and plants, Whole Foods is a go to store. And while they certainly helped prepare us for the holidays with special deals and an amazing variety of foods to choose from, when it comes to Christmas Day, we may have to choose somewhere else for those last minute needs.

According to the Whole Foods Holiday Store Hours page, their markets will not be open on Dec. 25. And this makes sense, as they are known for modifying their hours for most major holidays.

Whole Foods will not be open on Christmas Day

While we can expect them to reopen on Dec. 26 with normal business hours, that still leaves us wondering where else we can grab those last minute goodies we need to complete our dinners on Christmas Day. Luckily for us, there are regular grocery stores that will be open, with modified hours, including stores like Albertsons, Safeway, and Giant Food, according to Good Housekeeping.

In 2020, we have to expect the unexpected, and that includes finding out that the stores that we normally rely on for our last minute shopping needs will actually be closed on Christmas Day. And while we are not surprised at the number of stores that are staying closed for the holiday, it does leave us wondering if this may become a more normal occurrence in the future.
