Want to enjoy a Big Mac while ringing in the New Year? How about starting 2021 with a McMuffin? Then you’ll want to know if McDonald’s is open, and maybe even get an idea of what their hours will be.
According to Country Living, we are in luck if we want to say goodbye to 2020 or say hello to 2021 with a cheeseburger and French fries from McDonald’s. Not only is the fast food restaurant set to be open on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, but in many cases, they will be open early on Jan. 1 and late on Dec. 31.

While hours will vary depending on the location, as the majority of McDonald’s are franchises, the fact that they will be open is good news for those of us not looking for something fancy to eat either day.
McDonald’s is set to be open on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day

Whether you want a late night guilty eat or to start your new year off with a delicious meal, McDonald’s has us all covered. From their Big Macs, Quarter Pounders, and French Fries to their McCafe line up of muffins, cinnamon rolls, and lattes, there is something for everyone and every taste bud.
And if you really don’t want to leave the house (who could blame you), you can always turn to Uber Eats and their current McDonald’s offer, which runs Dec. 31 until Jan. 3. Spend $20 and indulge in a bit of free McDelivery! It’s a perfect end to 2020, and even more delicious start to 2021.
