Can we enjoy Starbucks on New Year’s Eve and Day?
The New Year is upon us and since we are eager to say goodbye to 2020, we are all about finding things to enjoy as we ring in 2021, which is where Starbucks comes in. After all, what better way is there to say goodbye to one year and hello to the next than with decadent caffeine drinks?
Of course that means we need to know how both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day will have an impact on Starbucks‘ hours of operation. While many restaurants and stores are closed on holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas, when it comes to these two holidays, more of these places are open instead. However, just because it may be open, that doesn’t mean their hours won’t be affected.

Starbucks is open for New Year’s Eve and Day, but with shortened hours
Starbucks themselves have stated that their stores, “are happy to welcome customers on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day in select store locations. Starbucks stores are a gathering place for the community, and customers use our stores to connect over coffee in different ways every day. Store hours vary by location.”
With the chain confirming that hours will vary for the holiday, we recommend checking with your store either by calling them directly or checking their app for updated hours. This will make sure that you don’t miss out on your chance to snag your Latte, Espresso, or Frappuccino to both say goodbye to 2020 and hello to 2021.
We expect to see a number of the Starbucks locations closing early on New Year’s Eve and then opening a bit later (and maybe even closing early) on New Year’s Day, much like many of them have in the past.
