Is Trader Joe’s open on New Year’s Day 2021?
Will Trader Joe’s be open on New Year’s Day 2021?
Looking for a last minute meal? Forgot some groceries to kickstart your 2021? Then you probably want to know if Trader Joe’s is open on New Year’s Day 2021.
Honestly, the last thing we were thinking of heading into New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day was whether or not we had all of our grocery shopping done. And considering we love stocking up our pantry and fridge with goodies from Trader Joe’s, especially from their meats and cheese departments, we absolutely need to know if the store will be open on January 1.

Unfortunately, it looks like we are out of luck if we wanted to run to the store for some last minute goodies or for stocking up on supplies to start our new year right. That’s because, according to the Trader Joe’s Announcements page, the store will in fact be closed.
Trader Joe’s will be closed on New Year’s Day 2021
Knowing that Trader Joe’s is closed on New Year’s Day, it looks like we will either have to wait until Jan. 2 to do our shopping or we will need to pick a different store for those last minute needs. And considering there are a few other options they can choose from, even though it is a holiday, it is good to know that we won’t have to worry about heading into the first weekend of 2021 without our grocery needs met.
The store will be back to normal operating hours on Jan. 2, so you should be able to stock up on all your must haves, including the cheese and meats we all love and snack on.
