There are some sandwiches that we just consider to be a classic. From the bread used to the different ingredients placed in between the bread, there is something about them that just screams comfort and classic eats. And Bob Evans is kicking 2021 off with their take on one such beloved, classic sandwich.

According to the foodies at Chew Boom, it seems that Bob Evans is adding their own take on a classic BLT to their menu. Introducing their All American BLT!

At its core, the BLT is a rather simple sandwich. We are talking about a sandwich that has bacon, lettuce, and tomato in between two slices of bread. When done right, it is classic perfection (we like a little mayo in the mix for our BLTs).

Bob Evans launches an all new All American BLT in 2021

So what is it about the All American BLT that makes it special? It seems that Bob Evans is taking brioche bread and toasting it on a griddle before adding four pieces of their “center-cut hardwood-smoked bacon,” fresh sliced tomatoes, and lettuce. Then they are adding some mayo (it’s like they know us), and serving all of this deliciousness with a side of deli pickles.

It’s simple done right, and it is all about the bacon this time. With four pieces of decadent bacon, Bob Evans is kicking this sandwich up into high gear. Of course, the only downside to this news is that at least for now it is only going to be available for a limited time. But perhaps people will fall back in love with this classic and convince the restaurant chain to keep it on the menu as a permanent addition.
