Del Taco adds Honey Mango Crispy Chicken items to the menu

Since rolling out their line of crispy chicken menu items, it has been a hit at Del Taco. And now a new sauce is making the chicken people have been raving about even better. Introducing Honey Mango Crispy Chicken!

According to a press email, Honey Mango sauce will be around for a limited time at Del Taco, but while it is here, it will make some of our favorite crispy chicken items even sweeter. In fact, there are three new choices on the menu that combine this new sauce with our chicken.

Del Taco adds a touch of sweetness to the menu with their new Honey Mango sauce

So what exactly is on the menu at Del Taco? We have the answer right here:

• Honey Mango Crispy Chicken Taco – Coming in at $1 each, these tacos are part of the Del’$ Dollar Deal$ Menu. Each taco features a strip of crispy chicken, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and the Honey Mango sauce.
• Honey Mango 3 PC. Crispy Chicken & Churros Box – This box costs just $4 and features three strips of crispy chicken, cinnamon sugar mini churros and a drizzle of Honey Mango sauce.
• Epic Honey Mango Crispy Chicken & Bacon Burrito – Finally, the third new option is the equivalent of a meal that will cost you $5 and features crispy chicken strips, bacon, Crinkle Cut Fries, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and the Honey Mango Sauce all wrapped together in a warmed flour tortilla.

I love honey mango as a flavor profile and having it used to add a special kick to crispy chicken is a win in my book. Getting the chance to try three different menu items with the Honey Mango sauce sounds like a win to me, and while they are saying this will only be around for a limited time, we can only hope that this ends up being such a win for the chain that they decide to make it a more permanent addition.
