By now you should know how I feel about Wawa. It is a bastion of foodie greatness that few other convenience store chains can even come close to competing with. Sheetz? No thanks. Speedway? Get outta town. And no one takes 7-11 seriously anymore so don’t even go there.
It feels like every other day Wawa announces some new menu item that just takes things up yet another notch. Angus burgers. Pita sandwiches. And then there is the greatness that is the legendary Gobbler. Makes me wish it was Thanksgiving already.
So whenever Wawa reveals a new spin on one of their best selling items, I know that it’s going to be great. But when it includes Chips Ahoy! chocolate chip cookies, well, that my friends is the epitome of the win/win situation.
According to the folks at Chewboom (who I’m sure love Wawa as much as I do.) Wawa is teaming up with the people at Chips Ahoy! to bring you a whole lot more cookie goodness on your frozen treats this summer. And as we all know, you can never get enough cookie goodness.
It will be cookies everywhere on Wawa handcrafted drinks and treats this summer.
The new line of Chips Ahoy! drinks include all the Wawa regulars, including milkshakes, smoothies, sundaes, cappuccinos and the ever popular Flurricanes. All can now be topped with or blended with Chips Ahoy! cookie pieces.
All of the above options come in your standard flavors of vanilla, chocolate and caramel.
Now, if you’ve never had a Wawa handcrafted beverage, you really need to amend that as soon as possible. They are way better than you might expect, and on a hot summer day can really hit the spot. And now that they include Chips Ahoy! cookie pieces, what’s not to get excited about? It’s not like you’re going to find this at Sheetz!
Of course, like all good things, the Wawa and Chips Ahoy! union is only going to last for a limited time. So go get your before the summer is over and your life becomes all about The Gobbler.
