Taco Bell testing new White Hot Ranch Fries and Burritos
By D. Goodman
Even since Taco Bell changed the lives of fast food fans forever and the term “Nacho Fries” entered the foodie lexicon, life just hasn’t been the same since. The immensely popular menu item only shows up a few times a year if that and when it finally does, it’s a cause for celebration.
For many, Taco Bell Nacho Fries are on the same level as the McRib at McDonald’s or when your favorite Blizzard makes a surprise return at Dairy Queen. In other words, they are a really big deal.
This is something Taco Bell is well aware of and as a result, they are constantly looking for ways to keep Nacho Fries fresh and foodies coming back for more. That is why you see so many new versions of the now classic side order being tested in areas all over the country, such as Crispy Cheese Nacho Fries.
Now thanks to Chewboom we have learned that yet another version of Nacho Fries is being given a test run by Taco Bell, this time exclusively in the Chicago area. And this time, The Bell has decided to really bring the heat.
Say hello to the new Taco Bell White Hot Ranch Fries and Burritos.

This time around the new iteration of Nacho Fries is called White Hot Ranch Fries. It includes the ever popular Nacho Fries but topped with seasoned beef or marinated steak. In addition, it comes loaded with nacho cheese sauce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, sour cream and what The Bell is calling White Hot Ranch Sauce.
An even better option may be the White Hot Ranch Fries Burrito. Take all the ingredients listed above and wrap them all up in a flour tortilla.
For those that are curious, White Hot Ranch Sauce is made with a combination of buttermilk and ghost chili peppers. So when they say it’s hot, you better believe that it is.
As mentioned above, unless you live in the Chicago area you won’t be able to give either of these tasty items a try. But hopefully with some social media love Taco Bell will realize they have a winner on their hands and roll them out nationwide down the line.
