Sometimes you want a burger and it doesn’t matter what day of the year it is. And if you really want a Whopper for Christmas, you may want to know if Burger King is open.

If there is one thing on the menu at Burger King that we want all year, it would have to be a Whopper. And it doesn’t matter if it is a holiday or not, because sometimes you just want it your way. But that means finding out whether or not the fast food chain is actually open on Christmas Day or not.

According to USA Today, select locations will in fact be open for Christmas. So, what does this mean. Well, it means that if you are really lucky you might be able to enjoy that Whopper after all.

However, because it is only select locations, that does mean you will want to call ahead before venturing out (and potentially facing disappointment). If you are in an area with a Burger King that is open for Christmas, there are plenty of options that might not scream holiday, but will definitely satisfy those fast food cravings.

And if you happen to be flying on Christmas day (or really anytime through Dec. 30) and your flight gets delayed, Burger King has you covered as well. According to Chew Boom, they are offering delayed travelers a free Impossible Whopper. All you need is the BK app and fill in your delay information on the screen that says “Delay Your Way.” For this promotion we recommend taking a look at the app for more information.

Seriously, Burger King seems to understand us no matter what day of the year it is, and clearly Christmas is no different. Just remember to check your local restaurant before heading out to make sure you can get your hands on the Whopper of your choice.
