Looking to participate in dry January, but don’t want to give up beer entirely? Why not try Goose Island’s new So-Lo IPA with a low ABV?

Over the years, the idea of dry January has increased in popularity. After the holidays, many people are trying to get back on track with their health and diets, and this can mean cutting out alcohol entirely. But if you don’t want to walk away from your beer, why not try the new Goose Island low ABV beer?

According to the company, their new So-Lo IPA has an ABV of just 3 percent, which is definitely great for those of us looking for a beer that is better for us this coming dry January. Not only will this craft beer be available year round, but the fact that it also has just 98 calories makes it a real winner for the health conscious among us.

Much like many of the other beers that Goose Island offers, this is a craft beer that still packs a punch in the flavor department. Just because it has a lower ABV and calories count does not mean you won’t enjoy every sip of the So-Lo IPA.

In fact, the company describes their beer as having, “big aroma, citrus and herbal aroma notes, and a nice balanced bitterness.” All of this to say that this is one IPA that doesn’t seem like it would be a low-calorie beer. It’s all about flavor at Goose Island and once again they are delivering the flavor love with this new addition to their lineup that will not only get you through dry January, but will likely become a year round favorite.

The So-Lo IPA from Goose Island is set to be released in select markets around the U.S. starting in January 2020. Be on the lookout for this better-for-you craft beer and let us know what you think once you try it.
