Virgil Abloh teams with evian for a sustainability project that includes a designer glass bottle

In an effort to promote further sustainability projects, evian has teamed up with fashion designer Virgil Abloh to introduce a new platform and bottle.

On Feb. 10, evian announced a special partnership with designer Virgil Abloh which included both a new sustainability movement, and the introduction of a very special bottle of the water. As part of this collaboration, Abloh helped to design a special glass bottle and even two SOMA refillable bottles in different colors.

However, the biggest aspect of this partnership is also the launch of the Activate Movement Program, which goes along with the designer bottles perfectly.

These limited edition bottles mark the second time that Virgil Abloh has teamed up with evian, and this time it coincides with the company’s new grant program for sustainability. This contest would see one designer who is able to be innovative and sustainable in their designs win a grant of over $54,000.

The Activate Movement Program will run from Feb. 10 until March 31, and is open to people between the ages of 18 and 34. In order to apply for the program, you will need to snag a bottle of evian with the special QR code featured.

The money will be rewarded to help the designer bring their design to life and they will also receive assistance from evian to get the exposure they need. A big goal of this contest is to find future leaders who are looking for a way to make the future better by finding ways to promote sustainability options.

Looking at the Evian x Virgil Abloh bottle is to see a piece that is designed with these water droplets that seem to be looped around the bottle. And according to the press release from evian these droplets reflect, “the potential for small actions to creative positive change.”

Sustainability is very important and it is extremely important for companies to be aware of the impact they have on the world. With evian, it is clear that they are looking to promote awareness of the environment and our impact on it.
