New Veggie Bites from ZENB are just what your veggie loving (and hating) taste buds need
By Sandy C.
ZENB has launched new plant-based, tasty snacks called Veggie Bites to help you get your daily dose of veggies (without the cringe)!
Let’s be honest! When it comes to vegetables, we wouldn’t put them anywhere on the food pyramid if given the option. While some veggies are delicious and loved by most (such as corn and carrots), broccoli and other greens get left behind. ZENB is here to change that with Veggie Bites.
ZENB is a plant-based snacking company that offers shelf-stable treats. These aren’t only delicious, but they are perfect for the current self-isolation situation we are finding ourselves in due to COVID-19.
If you are searching for snacks to pack your pantry with, be sure you include these! ZENB sent over some of these snacks for me and my family to try and we love them. Yes, even the kiddos enjoyed these. Read on for my full review.
These Veggie Bites provide one cup of vegetables in every pouch. They are vegan, organic, non-GMO, and gluten-free. For the kids, it’s like a secretly healthy snack they won’t see coming. And they’ll do you a lot of good, too!

Get 60% off ZENB’s Veggie Bites Stock Up Box (a $99 value), which is perfect for stocking up a large variety of these. The box includes 5 Edamame, 5 Red Bell Pepper, 5 Summer Beets, 5 Sweet Potato, and 5 Sweet Corn Veggie Bites pouches, so you can sample them all.
- The Veggie Corn Bites are a mix of Sweet Corn, Pineapple, and Cardamom. I found these one of the sweetest in the mix.
- The Red Bell Pepper pouches also include Tomato and Ancho Chiles. Not the kid’s favorite, but my husband and I enjoyed them. They do have a strong spicy kick, though!
- The Edamame, which also include Mango and Spinach aren’t the most attractive looking, so the kiddos knew something was up and wouldn’t try them. Their loss.
- Summer Beets also have Orange and Cacao Nibs and are pretty bland. Some flavors you just can’t create to be exciting. I wish these had more of an orange taste to them to mask the other flavors.
- Finally, the Sweet Potato (with Mango and Cinnamon) were everyone’s favorite Veggie Bites. My kids already love Sweet Potato, and I thought the added Mango and Cinnamon perfect these treats.
Please note, the scents are strong and may turn off picky eaters. Luckily, my two kids are used to me offering them various samples so they are pretty brave! And in this case, it paid off (minus the Edamame bites).
