Taylor Swift is suggesting we drink red wine to listen to her album
In a recent interview, Kelsea Ballerini spilled the tea on what her friend Taylor Swift suggested she should drink while listening to Folklore, Swift’s newest album. It turns out that when Ballerini sat down to listen to Folklore, she wanted to know what would be the best drink for the occasion. And we can totally understand wanting to get in the mood for some excellent music.
According to Delish, in the interview, Ballerini explained that she texted the other singer with a list of possible drinks, including tequila, a Manhattan, or wine. And in response, Taylor Swift told her she needed to break out the red wine.
So what exactly did Swift tell Kelsea Ballerini? According to the singer-songwriter, her friend texted her, “red wine…buckle up.”

Honestly, the idea of Swift saying to grab a bottle of red wine is the kind of mood that we can get behind. And with up to 31 different types of red wine to choose from, there are plenty of options for those of us who are actually going to take the country singer’s suggestion.
While there may be plenty of red wine varieties, there are about seven that are at the top of the list. Among the types of red wine we can choose from are:
- Pinot Noir
- Cabernet Sauvignon
- Merlot
- Syrah
- Malbec
- Zinfandel
- Sangiovese
Basically we have a lot of options when it comes to the bottle of red wine we grab for when it comes time to sit down and listen to Taylor Swift’s Folklore. And I don’t know about you, but I think this might just be the perfect way to enjoy the weekend.
