Harpoon and Dunkin are teaming together again for a new fall flavor launch including donut infused beers

Harpoon and Dunkin’ have realized what we need before anyone else even realized it. Many people love beer and many people love donuts. There happens to be a great majority of people who like both and not just one or the other. Personally, three of my favorite things are donuts, beer, and the fall season. These two New England favorites are taking their fall collaborations to the next level in hopes of combining these similar loves into one great drink.

Harpoon and Dunkin’ are teaming together for a pair of doughnut-infused and coffee-infused beers. They are bringing comfort flavors to the fall season. The two companies have already paired together for the Harpoon Dunkin’ Coffee Porter for the last two fall seasons, and now they are taking their marriage a step further. The two are adding three new flavors into the fall beer, and two of them will have Dunkin’s donuts infused into the beer itself.

Harpoon is excited to continue combining their brewing with Dunkin’ flavors

The new flavors include classic fall and donut flavors in a matchup both brands are hoping will sing to people who give them a taste. Harpoon and Dunkin’ each have their own descriptions of these new flavor profiles and they all sound very enticing. The new flavors include:

  • Harpoon Dunkin’ Boston Kreme: This “Boston Kreme Stout” is brewed with real Dunkin’ donuts and cacao nibs, which add extra dough-like and chocolatey notes to an easy-drinking, creamy Dry Irish Stout. ABV: 4.3%
  • Harpoon Dunkin’ Pumpkin: Inspired by everyone’s favorite fall pumpkin latte, this “Spiced Latte Ale” is brewed with real pumpkin, pumpkin pie spices, and a splash of coffee. Light in color and easy-drinking, it’s a perfect blend of all the autumn flavors we love, with just a touch of an espresso-like roast! ABV: 5.2%
  • Harpoon Dunkin’ Jelly Donut: Brewed with real Dunkin’ donuts and raspberry purée, this slightly hazy IPA has bright notes of jelly and citrus from the addition of fruit-forward Hüll Melon and Citra hops. ABV: 5.7%
  • Harpoon Dunkin’ Coffee Porter: Harpoon’s first ever tribute to the Dunkin’ coffee that has helped keep their brewers running, this classic American Porter combines malty notes of chocolate, caramel, and toffee with the comforting and familiar flavor of Dunkin’ Original Blend coffee. ABV: 6.0%

Of course, there is also the original collaboration, which is the Harpoon Dunkin’ Coffee Porter and it has been very successful in its two year run for the companies. Both sides are excited to take their flavor combinations to an all new level. According to Dan Kenary, the CEO and co-founder of Harpoon:

"After more than two years and three seasons of collaborating with the Dunkin’ team, our fans have come to expect a delicious fall beer from us, but we wanted to give them something extra special this year."

Including the donuts in their beer recipe is a first for Harpoon and also a first for Dunkin’. Like Harpoon, Dunkin’ is very excited about the release of the new flavors of beer. Brian Gilbert, the Vice President of Retail Business Development at Dunkin’ said:

"We’re excited to elevate our collaboration with Harpoon this fall with the introduction of Harpoon Dunkin’ Pumpkin beer and the first ever Harpoon beer made with real Dunkin’ donuts. We have no doubt the new donut brews, along with the rest of this new fall lineup, will bring the same moments of sweetness and smiles our coffee and donuts have created for 70 years."

These new flavors will be available for purchase and sipping beginning in September. As an added bonus, the Harpoon Dunkin’ Pumpkin will be available on draft and also sold in bottled six packs. There is also going to be a new Harpoon Dunkin’ mix pack which will be a 12 pack of cans featuring three cans of each flavor released. The mix pack is definitely what has me most excited so I can sip and savor each flavor.
