In the tradition of Christmas arriving earlier and earlier, two holiday-inspired flavors of Walmart ice cream are already available

Have you decorated for Halloween yet? Is your house covered in pumpkins, witches and goblins? Have you planned out your Thanksgiving dinner and made the guest list yet? Because if you haven’t Walmart is prepared to get you in the Christmas spirit instead. Yes, Christmas. In early September.

In the endless tradition of Christmas arriving in your local stores earlier and earlier, Walmart is jumping on the holiday bandwagon really early this year. No, decorated trees aren’t up and inflatable Santas aren’t waiting to be purchased. However, if you’re in the mood for a holiday snack, Walmart has just the thing.

Walmart has holiday flavored ice cream waiting for you

As reported by Delish, both eggnog and peppermint flavored Walmart brand ice cream have already been spotted in some stores. And if there are any two flavors that scream Christmas, it’s those two.

Both ice creams are Walmart’s own Great Value brand and include Christmas-themed packaging that while not overt, is definitely noticeable. The eggnog flavor is pretty self explanatory while the peppermint is a mint flavored ice cream with with peppermint candies mixed throughout.

A tub will set you back about two bucks and both will be available for sale until December. Which means if you still have Halloween candy and Thanksgiving leftovers, the ice cream will be there waiting for you. But of course, whoever said Christmas-inspired snacks can get here too early?
