When it comes to giving a spotlight to small business, Hornitos is doing their part with the help of Bespoke Post, which helped shine a light on Hoff & Pepper. As part of their initiative to help small businesses “take their shot,” Hornitos Tequila partnered with Bespoke Post for a very special Shot Takers gift box.

In this limited edition box, we not only get a chance to try Hoff & Pepper Hoff’s Mean Green Hot Sauce, but we also get a Wax Buffalo Soy-Based Candle, a Krio River No. 2 Face Oil, Revel Gear’s Trail Hound Camping Lights, and a Utility Roll from Bradley Mountain. And while this box might not seem like the ultimate foodie experience, it is about so much more than that. It is about shining a light on small businesses in the U.S. who are persevering during hard times.

Thanks to Hornitos and Bespoke Post, more people will have a chance to learn about these amazing businesses and try something new. For me, everything in the box is amazing. It’s actually quite exciting getting to try these creations from companies that I had never heard of before.

Upon getting my own Shot Takers box, the first thing I did was read about each item included and I will admit that I love everything (if you want a vegan-friendly face oil that spells delicious, the Krio River No. 2 is a must), but as a foodie I had to know what the Hoff & Pepper hot sauce would taste like and I will admit this was a flavor explosion in the mouth. I never knew I needed this hot sauce in my life and this will not be included in more cocktails that I even drink.

Honestly, I can’t wait to have a plate of fresh tamales with the Hoff’s Mean Green Hot Sauce dashed on top. Plus, this sauce feels like it will be a perfect addition to tacos, burritos, and even nachos. Pretty much any dish that could be elevated by hot sauce is going to get a dash of the Hoff & Pepper sauce to see how it elevates the different flavor profiles.

As someone who is actually a fan of Hornitos, I admit that they are the reason I wanted to learn more about this Shot Takers box, because if they are involved then it is worth checking out. After all, they are known for their quality. And after experiencing this unique box, it is clear that they also make sure that anyone they put their name behind lives up to that high standard.
