When it comes to Coca-Cola products, we all have our favorites. And Coke Zero has long had a dedicated following of sippers, beyond the Diet Coke lovers.

But now, Coca-Cola is giving their Coke Zero a tastelift. It’s a facelift for the flavor, and that also means that when you see the new bottles or cans of Coke Zero, they are also getting a new look too (so basically it is a tastelift and a facelift for this soda!). And we got to try the new take on this zero sugar soda.

Now, I will admit that I am a fan of classic Coca-Cola. Ask anyone who knows me, they will tell you that in the past I have had a serious problem/addiction when it comes to Coca-Cola. But after going cold turkey for years, when it comes to sipping a soda, it needs to be a zero sugar option if I am going to get my sip on. And that’s where Coke Zero comes in.

I have tried the classic Coke Zero and it was good, but I didn’t love it. But then they announced that a new Coke Zero was coming our way and I was excited to give it a try. And I am so glad I did.

Coke Zero gets a tastelift to make it even more like the classic Coca-Cola

According to the company, the only thing that is changing is the amount of ingredients they are using, but they are using all the same ingredients. So the change to the flavor is not as wild as one might think.

And having been a Coca-Cola classic drinker for years, this new Coke Zero ended up being surprisingly refreshing and tasty. It does still have a bit of an aftertaste, but it wasn’t so overpowering and fake. The more you sipped, the more it just worked.

For fans of Coke Zero, this is actually not bad news. Unlike past attempts at changing a Coca-Cola line/flavor, this is one that we think is a win.

Have you tried the new Coke Zero yet or even seen it in a store near you? If you have, what did you think? Are you a fan? Do you like the new Coke Zero or the old one better? Let us know.
